Mice and Rodent Control

AK Pest Control provides professional mice and rat control for homes, rental properties, restaurants, warehouses and businesses across Southwestern Ontario. Our work is led by a professional entomologist, so every job starts with a proper inspection and identification — then a treatment plan built around your property, not a one-size-fits-all spray.

Mice and rats get in through gaps you’d never notice — foundation cracks, utility openings, garage door seals and rooflines — and once inside they nest in walls, attics and storage areas. In the fall, field mice move indoors in large numbers, so early action matters.

How We Control Mice and Rats

• Inspection — we look for entry points, droppings and nesting areas to understand how rodents are getting in and where they are active.
• Secured bait stations and traps — locked, tamper-resistant bait stations and traps placed where rodents travel, safe around children and pets.
• Ongoing bait station service — we service bait stations on a regular schedule for homes, restaurants, warehouses and property-managed buildings, so protection doesn’t lapse.
• Sealing and prevention advice — we point out what to seal and what to change around the property so rodents stay out after treatment.

Your inspector will explain the plan for your property and what preparation, if any, is needed before work begins.

What to Expect

1. Inspection — we identify the pest, the entry points, and the extent of the problem.
2. Plan and quote — you get a clear treatment plan and price before any work begins.
3. Treatment — secured bait stations and traps installed at activity areas and entry routes.
4. Follow-up — scheduled service visits and warranty support if activity continues.

Rodent Control for Property Managers and Businesses

Rodents in a restaurant, warehouse or multi-unit building are a reputation and compliance problem, not just a nuisance. We work with property management companies, landlords, restaurants, warehouses and industrial facilities on scheduled service visits, multi-unit treatments, and written recommendations after inspection so managers can plan and budget with confidence.
