AK Pest Control provides professional wasp and ant control for homes, rental properties and businesses across Southwestern Ontario. Our work is led by a professional entomologist, so every job starts with a proper inspection and identification — then a treatment plan built around your property, not a one-size-fits-all spray.
Wasps and ants are seasonal but persistent: wasp nests appear under eaves, in sheds and wall voids through the summer, while ants — including carpenter ants — trail into kitchens and, in the case of carpenter ants, nest in damp or damaged wood.
Wasp and Hornet Nest Removal
We remove wasp and hornet nests from eaves, sheds, trees, wall voids and other spots around the property, treating the nest itself so the colony doesn’t return. If you have a nest near a door, deck or play area, don’t disturb it — call and we’ll deal with it safely.
Ant Control, Including Carpenter Ants
Ant control starts with finding the trail and the nest, not just spraying the ants you can see. We treat the nest and entry routes, and for carpenter ants we inspect for the damp or damaged wood they nest in and advise on what needs fixing so they don’t come back.
What to Expect
- Inspection — we identify the pest, the nest or trail, and the extent of the problem.
- Plan and quote — you get a clear treatment plan and price before any work begins.
- Treatment — targeted treatment of nests, trails and entry points.
- Follow-up — warranty support if activity continues.
Wasp and Ant Control for Property Managers and Businesses
Wasps near entrances, patios and play areas, and ants in kitchens and food-service areas, are problems tenants and customers notice fast. We work with property management companies, landlords, restaurants and commercial facilities on prompt treatments and written recommendations after inspection so managers can plan and budget with confidence.
